It may take a Forex trading course to understand the global market, but it does not take one to understand the basic principle that a success in one area of the market can be mitigated by failure in another. The market saw this in December when mining gains were negated and offset by market share losses. As one sector increases another fails and this means that the market can shift, ebb and flow like a roller coaster. Those with multiple stock investments and currency involved in the market need to understand the importance of this tradeoff and understand the current market values of each of their investments.
